Emily Carreon, RN, IBCLC

Emily Carreon

Emily began her career in health care as a Doula, supporting mothers and their growing families throughout their birthing process and prenatal/postnatal journey. Most recently she worked as an IBCLC in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. Emily has experience working with level 4 NICU infants, multiples, and special needs infants, as well as assisting a local postpartum support group. As a mother of three, she has personally experienced the lack of support and resources available to mothers regarding postpartum depression, anxiety, and breastfeeding issues. Emily truly believes in the notion “it takes a village” and is passionate about providing quality, compassionate and comprehensive care and support to new mothers and their families. In her spare time, Emily enjoys gardening, baking, exercising, and discovering new ways to live a holistic life.
