After having my first child, I worked with the best LC and knew then I wanted to be an IBCLC one day.
I loved breastfeeding my children and wanted other parents to experience the beauty of feeding their child in the most natural way. When my firstborn was 1 year old, I began the pathway to becoming an IBCLC.
You are the expert of your child and always listen to your heart. There is so much misinformation out there, so learn from reliable resources/books before you begin your journey. You will get lots of advice as soon as your belly begins to show, if you listen to your heart and know the facts, you will find it much easier to navigate all that is out there (and there is a lot!!). Peace and love to you all!
