about us

Nest Collaborative is a Maryland-based practice specializing in lactation telehealth.
Our innovative practice provides affordable access to quality care for lactation concerns that can safely be addressed from home.

Amanda Gorman is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist. An early adopter of health technology for the family, she founded Nest Collaborative in early 2017 to address the growing need for affordable and easy access to reliable healthcare for families with young children.

Amanda holds undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Psychology from Columbia and Fordham Universities, and received her graduate nursing education in Pediatric Primary Care at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Prior to her transition to primary care in 2011, Amanda spent 6 years in emergency and peri-operative nursing at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Washington Hospital Center, Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles and UCSF. Additionally she has consulted for the US Department of Labor’s Job Corps program, as well as provided patient support for One Medical Group’s virtual clinical support team. After relocating to Maryland in 2014, Amanda provided audit and compliance review services for a small pediatric organization in Baltimore City. She and her husband, a family physician, have two small children, and live in Northern Baltimore County.

Amanda is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, the Maryland Breastfeeding Coalition and the Maryland Telehealth Alliance.

Kiki Pelletier, RN, IBCLC

Kiki is a Registered Nurse and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Kiki has
primarily worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as well as in the Newborn Nursery setting.
She holds a Degree in Nursing from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences. Prior to
becoming a Nurse, Kiki graduated with a degree in Marine Biology at Florida Institute of
Technology. She has a strong passion for educating and assisting new moms in their
breastfeeding journey, and understands the compassion needed for moms who need support.

Ann has been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in private practice for over 11 years, helping Moms and babies since 1998. She nursed her own two boys gaining “real world experience” of that, along with her professional certification. She knows that having a new baby can at times be overwhelming for Mom, working for a new “boss” who does not use words! Ann believes most breastfeeding problems can be solved with good information and support. She looks forward to helping mothers trouble shoot the problem and getting them the help they need.

Joanna is both a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She has worked with mothers and babies for over 10 years in both hospital and office settings. She serves in a state leadership role for the National Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a mother of three young children.
