I have been enjoying this secret time with my child for three years now.
I love every aspect of being an IBCLC. I believe that breastfeeding is the most beautiful and powerful thing that happens between the mother and her child. By helping them to have that experience, I feel like I am making the world a little better: more loving and caring, happier and healthier.
I have years of experience in the hospital setting (NICU, Postpartum) and outpatient ( home visits).
I have a three-year-old daughter who is the light of my life.
I love traveling and cooking with my daughter.
I decided during my time working in the postpartum unit at the hospital, and I noticed how difficult breastfeeding could be for many patients.
I decided to become an IBCLC to be able to help parents that are struggling with breastfeeding.
Do not give up if you have difficulties. Find help, get more knowledge, trust your body, take one step at a time, and do not stress. Everyone's breastfeeding journey is different. Enjoy yours.
