My own breastfeeding experience started out rocky, but with the help of an IBCLC, it had a happy ending!

What excites you most about being an IBCLC?

I love empowering parents to feel confident in their breastfeeding/chestfeeding journey.

Inpatient, outpatient, private practice home visits, naturopathic clinic

What state do you reside in?

When did you know you wanted to become an IBCLC?

I wanted to become an IBCLC once my breastfeeding struggles were resolved and I fell in love with breastfeeding.

Why did you become an IBCLC?

I wanted to become an IBCLC because I wanted to help families so they would not have to go through the struggles that I went through in the beginning.

What do you wish you could tell every parent (that they would actually do) and why?

It takes a lot of bravery to trust your body, and trust the breastfeeding/chest feeding process. I want parents to believe in their body's amazing abilities!
