Our International Board Certified Lactation Consultants® (IBCLCs®) provide breastfeeding remote video support to new and seasoned mothers, helping each achieve her personal feeding goals. Our team provides lactation management during the prental and postpartum periods, in addition to any point of transition during a woman’s breastfeeding journey.
Developed in the 1960s, telemedicine grew intially to provide rural patients access to specialized medical care. It’s use has increased steadily, most notably with the world’s growing reliance on mobile technology. Patient desire for convenient health care and the unavailability of the overburdened primary care system has made telemedicine emerge today as an available and accepted resource amongst health professionals, insurance payors and patients.
Telemedicine practice in the US is guided by the American Telemedicine Association, which partners with national medical associations to develop standards for the delivery of remote care. Nest Collaborative offers our patients this emerging technology while continuing to provide evidence-based, guideline-supported pediatric care keeping safety and quality as our most valued priorities.
