Please share anything you'd like from your own personal breastfeeding experience.

Breastfeeding my own kids made me a much better and more empathetic IBCLC.

What excites you most about being an IBCLC?

Providing support to Moms, empowering them to trust their instincts and providing providing the information they need to continue breastfeeding.

In what types of settings have you supported patients in lactation?

Public Health clinics, telehealth.

What makes up your family (people & pets)?

My fiance', three daughters, son, three rescue black lab mixes. It's a full house!

What do you enjoy doing while not at work?

Anything outside, reading, working out, spending time with my family.

Please share any additional education or certifications you have.

What state do you reside in?

New Mexico

When did you know you wanted to become an IBCLC?

After learning so much from my work mentor who is an IBCLC and watching her give women an incredible amount of support and education-I knew I wanted to help women in that capacity.

Why did you become an IBCLC?

I wanted to be able to provide women much needed support and education to succeed in their breastfeeding journey.

What do you wish you could tell every parent (that they would actually do) and why?

Try to relax and enjoy time with your baby. The rest will all come together.
